The down payment is calculated by first calculated the percentage amount based on the systems configured down payment percentage. After calculating the down payment percentage, it evaluates the down payment percentage to the minimum down payment amount. If the down payment percentage is greater than the minimum down payment amount then the system will use the down payment percentages otherwise the customer will be ask for the minimum down payment amount.
